Local Spotlight: Ship Island Excursions

Ship Island Excursions

Just picture it: sitting out on the deck as the warm sun shines down on you, watching dolphins or drinking cocktails. Swimming in the ocean. Picnicking at the beach. The picture-perfect vacation. And where can Biloxi residents find such a trip? Ship Island Excursions, of course.

What is Ship Island Excursions?

Ship Island Excursions has two ports, one in Biloxi and one in Gulfport. This company offers scenic, local hourly cruises, as well as trips to Ship Island, which is a pristine barrier island. There, you can learn all about the area’s history—and swim or play at the beach too.

What can I do with Ship Island Excursions?

The Mississippi coast is home to gorgeous islands, waters, and beaches. You can explore them all and marvel on a ferry trip or cruise from Ship Island Excursions. Some of the options they offer are:

  • A round-trip to Ship Island, where you can picnic, swim and snorkel, explore, and more;
  • Private charters;
  • A dolphin cruise;
  • A sunset cruise, which features cocktails; and
  • Book an educational trip for students or for groups.
