Coming Up: 40th Annual Biloxi Seafood Festival

40th Annual Biloxi Seafood Festival

You see the tasty food—and you just want to eat it. As the old joke goes: get on the “see” food diet! How? When you attend the 40th Annual Biloxi Seafood Festival at the Biloxi Town Green, of course. It will reach shore on September 11 and 12 next month—so you still have time to get on board!

About the Biloxi Seafood Festival

Forty years of seafood festivals? It may sound fishy—because it absolutely is! After all, we’re a coastal town—and we have the catches to back it up.

Onto the festival! This long-running event brings folks in town closer together to celebrate our history. That includes the fish we catch, cook, and eat!

This year, the festival is sponsored by the Biloxi Chamber of Commerce, the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources, and the City of Biloxi. We’re happy to see that it’s back! While it was canceled last year due to COVID-19, it seems that absence really does make the heart grow fonder—and the stomach hungrier!

What can I do at the festival?

Of course, trying delicious food isn’t the only draw at the 40th Annual Biloxi Seafood Festival—but it sure is a big one, with vendors selling the best the ocean has to offer. Other activities at the festival include:

  • A gumbo contest, where you can compete or sample;
  • Arts and crafts;
  • Activities for children;
  • Live entertainment;
  • And more.
